History was made when Banner Rovers u15 played our first game, in a friendly match kindly hosted by Tulla Utd.

And what a thrilling match it was !

The boys started the game slow, which is understandable  due to them getting to know one another and learning new formations.
We found ourselves 1-0 down early on but with Walid making vital blocks to keep them at bay. Tulla seized on the opportunity and scored two more to make it 3-0.

Sergio in goal making some important saves to keep the score the same until the half-time whistle.

Management team, Rui & Daryll, changed things up at the break, the boys came out with a positive attitude and full of belief.

3-1 Banner Rovers get their first ever goal scored by Aiden.
The boys begin to get stronger and voices getting louder.
Leadership from Dillion O'L  at the back was showing with the team responding, Yasir sticking to his man allowing him no room,
3-2 Another from Aiden, the Banner begin to roar!!!
Our midfield now dominating the park, Dillion L as defensive mid was like a wall (no one shall pass), Nathan quick at the heels of any Tulla player that touched the ball.
Banner attackers really shining now, Aleksei, Jamie, Alan, Kian, Taysir pushing the Tulla  defence back with good pace and footwork.
3-3 You guessed it, Aiden again, with the hatrick !!
At this point we are in full control and the game looks like its only going one way.
Dylan C now at the back reading the game brilliantly.  James , Adam and Luke as fullbacks had their opposite numbers locked down.

4-3 With a lapse of concentration we concede a scrappy goal and Tulla can sense victory.
Goalkeeper Daniel pulls off two fantastic saves to keep us in the game.
4-4 Its the star boy Aiden with his 4th, he's on fire, what a buzz around the ground.

Enter the last 10 mins with the team showing heart and spirit  we catch Tulla on the break, the ball is passed across goal and Jamie
is there to smash the ball in the back of the net for the winner !

4-5 Banner Rovers win their first game. This will go down in the history books.
